Yes! There are various instances of individuals spotting ghosts in Gettysburg, which is why it’s a hotspot for ghost hunters, both amateur and professional. Gettysburg Ghosts encourages tour-goers to bring cameras in the event the spirits are feeling particularly active.
The Gettysburg ghost tour does not visit the Gettysburg Battlefield. However, we do offer the Gettysburg Battlefield Tour, which is designed to provide an immersive experience of the history of this gruesome war.
In addition to snapping pictures, we also suggest renting an EMF Reader to take long on the tour. An EMF Reader will detect changes in electromagnetic fields, which is believed to be an indicator that an unseen force is present.

Gettysburg Ghosts invites you to explore Gettysburg’s ghostly past on a journey to its most haunted locations. Visit the Jennie Wade House, where you’ll learn about the heart-wrenching tragedy that consumed the home during the Battle of Gettysburg. Jennie Wade, the town’s sole civilian casualty, lost her life to a stray bullet while baking bread for Union troops. Visitors claim her spirit lingers, with faint cries echoing through the halls and unexplained movements of a chain in the basement that once cradled her lifeless body. Paranormal enthusiasts often sense a heavy presence here, preserving Jennie’s story for all who enter.
Discover the spine-chilling history of the Farnsworth House, considered one of Gettysburg’s most haunted spots. Confederate sharpshooters used the attic as a strategic vantage point, and their restless spirits are said to remain. Notable apparitions include George Sutton III, who mysteriously leaves traces of red Georgia clay, and Walter, a sinister presence notorious for unsettling female guests.
A gentle spirit named Mary is thought to provide a calming counterbalance to the house’s darker energy. Reports of icy touches, flickering lights, and fleeting shadows of Confederate soldiers carrying supplies make this a popular location on the Gettysburg ghost tour.
Stop at the Brickhouse Inn, a historic site rumored to harbor lingering spirits. Guests have described being startled awake by sharp sounds or spotting shadowy figures that evoke the chaos of the battle fought nearby. Visit these haunted Gettysburg locations and more with Gettysburg Ghosts.
